The client wants an area where she can plant vegetables, particularly corn, tomatoes, snap beans, squash, and melons. The veggie patch needs to be placed where it will get sufficient light, and corn especially needs a large area because it is wind pollinated. This spot is just big enough for a small vegetable patch, including a 10' x 10' area for corn. It's also placed next to the compost bin and next to the garage where she keeps her garden tools. It's also out of the way so that when she's not growing things there, she doesn't have to look at the bare earth all the time.Vegetable garden
