Greetings, all. The religion thread and Mighty Mik's reply to my post on the subject made me realize that I hadn't told you about my experience when I was in the hospital 2 years ago. I was in the hospital having diabetic problems when I asked Linda to stay one night with me. That night I had a dream/vision/whatever. I was walking down a forest path when I entered a clearing. In the clearing an old man in a white robe asked me, "Are you staying or going?" Well, I sat down and thought about it. "Staying," I told him "Then stay." Just then I woke up and knew I was going to make it out. I also have absolutely no doubt that if I had said "Going" I would not be here to tell the story. Is it a belief? Sure. Could it have been all "just a dream?" Possible, but I doubt it. It just didn't have the same feel as a dream. Could it have been induced by the medication I was being given? Again possible, again, I doubt it. Will it prove a damned thing to anyone but me and Linda (she believes because she saw my eyes)? Nope. As Always, Lord Dragon |
