The first day found Lord Dragon and the Speaker at the Midway Airport waiting for planes to arrive from Minneapolis, Washington D.C. and Atlanta.

Much of the first part of the afternoon was spent getting people to their rooms and allowing time for a nap for flight weary travelers.

~Mare and Remy needed a little time together, after all, they hadn't seen each other in two weeks and....

Remy had a little present for ~Mare... (sorry, but the flash caught the diamond and it isn't visible). The nuptials will take place in August of '98! And yes Shadow, they really did manage a nap before dinner.

The group went on to have dinner at The House Of Blues where good food, great conversations and shared raspberries took place. A few souvenirs were dropped and also purchased in the gift shop before heading for the evenings entertainment site.

"Side Kicks" one of Chicago's finest karoake bars. The Dragon proved to be worthy entertainment with an incredible voice as he sang favorites such as "The Weight" and the "Devil Went Down To Georgia," to name just a few.

~Mare & Remy soon called it a night, and enjoyed a Mario Andretti simulated taxi ride back to the Towers. The remaining members of this evening remained until the wee hours of the morning (yawn).
